Dolls are Addictive

This last week I made a couple dolls (and convinced my mom to make one) using Bit Of Whimsy's patterns:

Etsy Day!

It's Etsy Day! Have you got your Etsy on yet?

Today is the first Etsy day! It's been put together by shop owners, in order to raise Etsy awareness! You will hopefully see some Etsy car signs, t-shirts and the like today where you live! Keep your eye out for people dressed in orange!

Take some time and explore Etsy a little. Even if you just browse, you will have a better idea of what else is available there. Maybe that next baby/wedding shower gift.

Take some time to explore Etsy today!

www.ETSY.com

My favorite way to explore is the POUNCE feature. You can pounce Just Sold listing... or Undiscovered shops. :)

Newly Listed

I just listed this bold and beautiful flower hair clip and crochet headband set. Very cute!

orangeheadband2

orangeheadband4

orangeheadband3

I love this type of headband for infants (and little girls). The headband sits nicely on any size child's head, and does not cause the dreaded dent on an infants soft head. This bold orange flower is fun and colourful, and will complete any summery outfit of your young child's.

Flower is securely fastened to a ribbon covered alligator clip (ribbon ends have been melted to prevent fraying). This flower clip can be worn on the headband, or alone. The clip alone looks fantastic at the base of a pony tail.

Please check it out in my Etsy store.

Saturday Slice - Birds

A little late today because of traveling. In honour of spring, we're doing a Birds theme! They're so hip right now.

This cute card set is made by Lindy, a fellow Alberta Team member. You HAVE to check out her other cards, so adorable!

Project of the Month Complete

This month's project was Chalkboard Placemats. One side is a vinyl print that is easily wiped down, while the other side is a chalkboard, including a slot to keep a chalk. The entire mat rolls up so that it can easily be stowed in a diaper bag or purse, ready for your next restaurant visit, or appointment with you little tykes. Also great for keeping youngsters busy in places where there are no toys readily available (visiting family, church, etc). These particular ones are already spoken for, but I hope to make some more in the near future to sell.

New Applique

Last night I created a new applique. A rocket, perfect for any boy.

This is just a quick shirt, but it gives you a sneak peek of what is to come in my shop:

JDS_3920.JPG

I designed it for a friend's son's 1st birthday. I also made the following card to match:

Watch for "rocket" items in my shop soon!

Project of the Month

Every month I have a "Project of the Month." This is a feature in which I have planned a project that I have never made before. At the beginning of the month I post the supplies, and then at the end of the month (or if I finish early) I post the finished project. I never tell what the finished product will be, until I post the final picture (but I always like to hear your guesses as to what you think it is. If you're right, I will let you know that!).

My project this month:
