Chickens for Christmas

Just thought I'd do a blog post on a recent order I had.

I was contacted and asked if I could do a Chicken Christmas Card for a customer. I love how they turned out!! :)

Isn't he adorable? Who would have thought? Chickens for Christmas!

The back story is that the customer and her husband raise chickens, and wanted a card to give to their egg customers this coming holiday season.

Do you have a unique idea for a card? I'm always willing to give any idea a go!

Color Throwdown Challenge 109 Card

I love doing card challenges, but find I never get much time anymore. I've had this colour challenge open in my browser for almost a week before I finally sat down and did it. I loved the colour combo.

It is now available for purchase at Barefoot Cards.

A New Card

I've been so busy creating, I haven't been blogging.

Since I've been doing a lot more papercrafting lately, I thought I would start participating in some sketch challenges etc.

This challenge was given by Jitterbuggin' Challenge

Entitled 'Born To Be Wild'.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I really like how it turned out. I used two cricut cartridges: Animal Kingdom and Plantin Schoolbook.
