Saturday Slice - birdhouses

Watching the birds fly in and out of the neighbour;s attic through a woodpecker hole, made me think of birdhouses, so that is my pick for today's Saturday Slice.

Rustic Farmhouse Birdhouse by baconsquarefarms (such fantastic rustic items in this shop):

Saturday Slice -Coffee Time

Coffee..... been drinking a lot of that this last week! But this is just a short slice... We had a showing last night, another this morning, and we're heading out again because there will be another again shortly. We just came home for long enough for Paisley to have a good nap.

I love coffee.... no wait... I love latte's. I do drink regular coffee, but much prefer specialty coffees. Enjoy. I may post a couple others later... but for now, here's what I've got.

A few cards

I'm sorry I've been a bit neglectful of the blog lately. Our house was listed on the market this week, and I've spent the last month or so prepping for it. And now the upkeep is taking a lot of my time.

I did do some crafting with a purpose this last week, for mother's day and for a birthday party. So here a few cards I made:

You'll have to excuse the crummy photos... just quick shots before I gave them away. :)

Hope to be back at it again this week!

I have several new creations to photograph. So I hope to get them up here this week.

Have a great Thursday!

Saturday Slice - Hockey

Today's theme is hockey (hmm, I wonder who picked the theme this week?). Actually, he even hand picked each item for you today. :) So this is a Saturday Slice, by Joshua.

To start..... if our daughter was still young and not on her feet all the time:

These adorable crocheted hockey skate booties, made by HeathersTreasureBox:

Here's a baby shirt by threewagons:

Want ideas on what to do with your broken hockey sticks? NHL Digest has an article all about that:

And finally, a Stanley Cup cake:

Must be play off season or something :P.
